Dr Luqman Nasar has 15 years of clinical experience in Australia working in city and remote hospitals in surgical, medical, emergency medicine and general practice.
He has worked in phlebology and vascular diagnostics since 2008, under the guidance of some of Australia’s most renowned vascular surgeons.
Dr Luqman has a special interest in diagnostics and treatment of venous and lymph diseases including visible varicose veins, hidden venous incompetence, DVT, spider veins and leg ulcers.
Dr Nasar is a Fellow of the College of Phlebology UK, has a Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography, is certified with the Australian and American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is a Registered Vascular Technologist.
He also holds a Master of International Public Health from the University of Sydney, a Diploma of Child Health (University of Sydney) and is a Fellow of The Royal College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Luqman is married with three children, lives within the local Gregory Hills area and regularly works in our Wollongong rooms.
He looks forward to offering our local communities timely, compassionate and comprehensive care for their vein conditions – including ultrasound, laser treatment, radiofrequency and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy in rooms.
